Basic Women's Studies info
Text:
The Women’s Studies Concentration is an Undergraduate Course of Study that brings together courses which focus on women and provide critical analyses of gender and the related categories of class, race and other dimensions of social power. The concentration is interdisciplinary in nature, comprised of courses from different fields of study.

Students are required to take any five Women’s Studies courses in at least two different disciplines to complete the concentration. We recommend taking an introductory course such as PS 100- Introduction to Women’s Studies. We also recommend that concentrators take an advanced level course and some sort of specialized experience such as independent study, a directed readings leading to a major paper, or a creative project or an internship.

Anyone may take Women’s Studies courses.
